well, decided that I had to make a journal entry to let you all know that I'm still alive and kickin'. I still make art, but mostly with traditional media. why? well because i'm a lazy bum! I must say that i'm improving, but I still have the crappy scanner problem which is.. quite a problem.

so a tiny update on my life and such:

I've been to London with my Bitchassho Domino-one


I've... graduated? from errr.. highschool? and I'm of to study psychology at the university of Utrecht! So i'm gonna be a shrink yay for me!!!

I'm going to spain and france monday, and I will do absolutely nothing except being lazy

and now for something entirely different!!! I was looking through my old deviations when I noticed something odd. The names of my deviations are TOTALLY WACKY (liek OMG)

let us take a look at some of Syene's brilliant episodes of ludicity:

girliegirl, Easter Funny Egg, A Furry flexable person (o haha :S), demon's night out and last but not least, Link to the rescuteeeee!!! there are more that make you cringe but these were certainly the worst (did you know that worst means sausage in dutch ). I think it's because most of my deviations just pop out of my head and onto paper. So often there is no deeper thought behind these drawings, and hence the crappy names.

I also noticed that I don't really have a consistant style, and that it really changes by the year. I also said that Eragon was my favourite book AAAARGH... slaps self! luckily i've switched to better reading material like... TWILIGHT! with awesome sparkly vampires and very, very flat characters. much easier to read than those deep crap characters of Robin Hobb.

you know, looking through your old deviations really helps to re-evaluate yourself. Like when you where 14 and your deviations had no personality at all and were straight from the 'how-to-draw-manga' books, up until your really brilliant idea to use the smudge tool on a drawing that was made with traditional media. I will probably say the same things about the drawings a I make now in the future. But hey, that means progress, right?

well I don't have much to write so I guess this is the end of my journal.
